Gumdrop wreath? I thought those were balloons! ja!
I don’t think that gumdrop wreath would last long in my house, because I would totally eat it! Looks very festive though.
That gumdrop wreath makes my teeth hurt. So pretty, though!

I love the French and how they can pull everything off, from fashion to home decor – with such flair. Thanks for the great contests.
Great ideas!
The ribbon wreath looks easy!
I found an eggnog recipe similar to this one last year the week before Christmas (too late.) I am so glad you linked to this one as I really wanted to make it this year and was having trouble finding the same type of recipe!
hmmm…..I don’t think I could have a wreath made from candy in our house! It would start to look funny from little (and big) snitching hands.
HAHAH! I love the gumdrop wreath! Trouble is, it would last about 5 seconds in our house….
love the wreaths… gotta win that book…..
I’m always looking for fun things to do wth my girls. The felted balls look like they’re right up our alley!
addicted addicted addicted, that’s all I have to say, lolol.

Ciao! I am a reader from Italy and I LOVE your site through which I also discovered French General , which could sometimes resemble Italian general. I wish there were more hours in the day to be able to make all the great projects that you send our way and if I were to win the French General: Home Sewing book I would be in heaven! Keep up the great work everyone and arrivederci!
Valcatraz
I love that ribbon wreath! So easy to make and I definitely have the materials to make it ten times over.
I started with a poinsetta last week, and last night I hung crystal snowflakes all over my livingroom using invisible thread… I did something similar for halloween and people really can’t seem to see the thread! lol.
I am so ready for holiday decorating. Super excited and full of ideas. I am going to be so over-the-top this year! But hopefully not in a cheesy way. lol.

I just checked out this book on a childless evening at the bookstore. Amazing! It’s on my ever-growing wishlist. I have been thinking about gumdrops a lot lately too…could be because they were a favorite childhood treat at G’ma & G’pa’s…or because we just read Hansel & Gretel for the 20th time the other night. Either way, a gumdrop wreath (or mini version) is now on the list of things to do in preparation for the holidays! Thanks!

I’m looking forward to making a gumdrop wreath with the kids!
What wonderful tutorials. Thank you.
OH that gumdrop wreath is too cute!
Cute gumdrop wreath!
LOVELY!!
the wreaths are fabulous!! So cute!
the gumdrop wreath looks like a fun family project!
These are all lovely! I love the nature ideas~ we drilled holes into acorns that were
dry and hung them with ribbon. The kids love them. If you drill very small holes
into the lids and scoop out the “meat” of the acorns then drill small holes on either
side about 1/16th of a inch. then thread the thin ribbon through top then from outer
side of acorn the through center to outer side… then back through the bottom of the
cap. two holes in the cap and two in the acorn… tie it and it is a small fairy pouch for
you to wear around your neck. I made these with a small pom pom on the inner
cap (with hot glue) then added powder glitter. I made sure the cap could still move
up and down the ribbon. I used a small cork that I cut to fit each one and these
were halloween gifts for my daughters friends. But this could be for hollidays or any day!!
I hope that you could understand my directions…. of not post and I will try again,
Rane

the fact that you have a Pavlova recipe on your site is the coolest thing I’ve seen in weeks! For the most simple Pav, just top with Passionfruit pulp, or to make it really tropical try Kiwi Fruit and Strawberries or Mango. YUM!
I had every intention of making that black ribbon wreath for halloween but things got so busy. I still plan on it. If not for xmas for next halloween!

Oooh, I missed the gumdrop wreath tutorial. It’s so cute!
That book looks amazing!
Did I ever tell you the story of the gum drop garland I made for our Christmas tree one year? The one that my 3- and 5-year old girls nibbled away at while I set catch-and-release traps for the mice that I was sure was in the house? No?! Well, have a seat….
so cute.
Cool book
I would love it!
I’ll take the gumdrops over the eggnog any day.
I like the simplicity of the wreath. Each year I try to increase my holiday decorating in the most economical way and I have holiday ribbon waiting for the right decorating project. This looks to be like a good one.
Mmmm… eggnog time! And that desssert looks killer!
Love your ideas! I’d love to have that Home Sewn book as well!

Am loving Lara’s recipies! Love seeing some great Aussie favourites here. Am I too late to enter this giveaway? Wish French General was closer to home, so maybe this book would help with my growing appreciation of the delightful french country style.
