SEAMS TO ME: 24 New Reasons to Love Sewing

by Anna Maria Horner
(Wiley, November, $24.99, ISBN: 978-0-470-25926-9)

From the Publisher:

In SEAMS TO ME, Anna Maria walks the readers through the fundamentals of sewing, offering practical advice on everything from fabric selection to color choices to choosing and buying a sewing machine. While many books offer instruction or patterns, SEAMS TO ME offers both.

SEAMS TO ME includes vivid, full-color photographs and designs and a bound-in envelope containing 10 loose paper patterns. Whether you’re a beginner or veteran sewer, the 24 projects in this beautiful book will transform your home and wardrobe into a collection of unique treasures, to be handed down for generations to come.

The mother of five, Anna Maria still finds time to share her thoughts on a blog that attracts more than 100,000 fans per month. One of today’s most refreshing and most notable fabric designers, she has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show and has been featured at numerous exhibitions, including the Surtex art and design show and QuiltMarket.
