Yes, you are right. Dads are notoriously hard to shop for. Thank you for the ideas. I’m going to check out the soap idea and maybe have my kids make some for Dad.

These are great ideas, my hubby is a bear to shop/craft for. I have given everything I can think of with my kids pictures, handprints, names, etc. Those silkscreened ties are great, but he wears jeans everyday. This year I am attempting to make him a lap quilt with pics of our girls incorporated, we’ll see if it works out since I have never made a quilt before!

I love things embedded in the soap, especially the goldfish in bags that I see in various shops, but I think they’re more geared toward kids using than help making.

Those peanut butter blossoms look so good. I guess I’ll be adding things to my list to pick up at the grocery store today lol.

These are great ideas as well….. Thanks!!

I’ve made Liz’s 1×1 rib hat 3 times now, and I have to say that it’s an excellent pattern. I made it for my FIL and BIL two years ago (before they were in-laws), and my FIL fell in love with his and simultaneously lost it. He begged for another one, so I obliged last year, and now he wears it all winter long. I highly recommend it.

These are great to insert a photo, your child’s art, whatever you want. If Dad loves coffee or tea, he’ll love this gift. Its a great way to give him a heartfelt gift that he’ll actually use. Knitting on The Net = Barbie Doll Cardigan Sweater Knitting Pattern – on Line 5 there are eight extra stitches left.

Should the Instructions Instead be, K6, *(K1, Inc 1, K1) 4 times, K6; rep front * one time????

With the K1 in front of the Inc 1 will use up the eight extra stitches at the end!!!!

The Cardigan has the Skirt pattern also to link on, so you know which one I am talking about, peach or pink shown.
