    Slippers…what a great idea! We will now be outfitted in fat quarter projects from toe to head even as our hands work on a fat quarter quilt. Yes! This project will be on hold as I prepare notecards for my fat quarter swap partners. Drum roll please…who will I get to encourage with a fat quarter…stay tuned you say…

    Oh my, I love these and all the other pictures of the other slippers. I am a slipper-aholic and never dreamed I could make my own. and from fat quarters no less. I can’t wait to try. Thank you for this post and all the fat quarter post I love this month!!!

    Great idea :) I’ve got a pair of flipflops that had the toe strap pop out right away. . i’m going to recover them with this idea . I bet the new straps will be much sturdier.

    Flip Flops: the perfect shoe for those who would actually prefer to be barefooted (i.e. me) but are required to don footwear in public.

    What a cute and fun idea. You could almost wear them here in Arkansas today.
    It was very warm and then dropped as soon as sun went down. I’ve never thought about

    These slippers are great. We don’t wear shoes in the house for sanitary reasons and it is always good to have slippers on hand for guests uncomfortable with this.

    Oh this is super cool! I live in deep South Texas and so I can really never justify making myself cloth slippers I’d only wear for a couple of months. Can’t believe I never thought of this. I guess it is because I couldn’t figure out the best way to position the straps. Thank you for sharing these great tutorials! :)
