    Wow, this is a great tote!! I am making one for my mom, mother-in-law, and grandma for mothers day!! And when I am done with that I am making myself one! I also Love the Fabric choice in the tutorial. Gets me ready for all my spring sewing!! Love the posts for April so far, please keep it up for all of us!

    Great project! It’s still too soon to plant much here (too much danger of frost still) so it would be nice to have something garden related to do other than talking to my seedlings.

    This is too beautiful to use as a garden tote. I love to garden and after picking out all those beautiful fabrics *sigh* I would hate to put my dirty garden gloves into it. It would be great for so many other uses though.

    This is SO cute! My boyfriend’s mom would love this, she loves to work out in the garden, and i know she just bought a bunch of new seeds to plant! The directions look very simple, THANK YOU for the tutorial!!!!!

    I think I have just found the gift for my husband’s assistant this Christmas. She is a gardner and a farmer’s market shopping, just like me. She always gets handmade from me at Christmas and I think she’ll love this. Thank you. The plus is … if i make it now I don’t have to think about it in the middle of December :)

    Lovely pattern and great tute! I wouldn’t want to get it dirty with my garden stuff, but I think it would be a great basis for a grocery bag. I think I might applique the patchwork strip (rather than sew it into the side)… Now I’m mentally sorting through my stash for adequate fabric!

    Thanks for the tutorial. I always have problems getting my lining and shell to match up. For some reason I am always too short on the lining and my shell ends up having to be bunched up. I thought I would hold off on seaming it and just attach it first, but yours are exactly the same size. I’m going to try this…

    What a great project for a beginning quilter. The tutorial part makes it less intimidating. I especially like the handles on the tote, they look good and would be strong! I might put a coat of Mod Podge on the bottom to keep it clean and waterproof. Thanks!

    My friend has a number of flower gardens and her Birthday is in coming up in May. I just found an Apron to make for her gardening and now I can make her a bag too. She will absolutely love it. They just did a huge remodel and she now has a big atrium too so I’m sure she’ll put it them both to good use. Pretty and practical…..thank you so much!!
