Flower Power Contest Winners

We loved the entries in our Flower Power Contest. We were hoping for a Spring Sewing dose of color, pop, frill, surprise, sophistication and wow, and you came through! We hope you’re inspired to add flowers to your shoes, your child’s imaginative playtime, to your hair, bags, pillows, coffee cozies, skirts, shirts and to your daily routine. Jennifer Paganelli’s new fabric collections, Flower Power and Pretty Please, helped inspire our Spring Sewing month and the Flower Power Contest. Jennifer joined all of us here at Sew,Mama,Sew! and our board (thanks again, Amy, Jennifer & Alissa!) to select our winners:

    I love the barrette. One of my girls has recently started sprouting hair like crazy and finally has enough for a barrette. I’m going to have to give this one a try.

    I love the flower with reverse applique leaves. It’s such a refreshing idea to take things you don’t really like (plain white t-shirts) and turn them into something so cute and wearable. Great job!

    I love Rose Hip. She really, really knows how to do hip crochet. My grandma made those flower afghans, but I love how Rose Hip makes them really pop! ~Page
