Free Embroidery Designs from Sarah Jane Studios

Sarah Jane has an ad that I see around the internet and it catches my eye every. single. time.  Seriously, whenever I see that umbrella girl I have to click it and browse her shop, where I find myself mentally redecorating my girls’ rooms.  Her work pushes all my warm fuzzy nostalgia buttons and makes me want to seek out a vintage Pooh collection.

I was thrilled when Sarah Jane agreed to design some embroidery patterns for our Month of Hand Sewing.  They are completely adorable, and the Autumn/Back to School theme is perfectly timed.  Sarah Jane will be offering more embroidery patterns in her shop in the future and will have some free designs on her blog as well, so be sure to visit her regularly. In the meantime, enjoy these absolutely free embroidery designs!  (We did them both in two sizes for you to choose from.)

I have been following Hand Sewing Month every day this August … I don’t do any hand sewing, so I’m mostly curious. And then I saw these patterns. I’m on my way to call my grandmother (who is a class-A embroiderer!) to give me some starting tips. My little girl needs some of these darling patterns on a dress, on a pillow, in a frame in her room … Beautiful! Thank you for the inspiration!
